1 It is harder to practice when staying in the home life
because there are many attractions and distractions. However, zen master says
bad situations is good situation to practice. For this, we must have some
samadhi level to continue practice. Otherwise needs to have the precepts to
guard and protects us from being derailed.
2 To me zen master has summarized the 37 method / path to
practice into right understanding, keeping a clear/don’t know mind and
functioning correctly. Try, try, try for 10 thousand years. This includes when
to keep and open the precept as long as the words, thoughts and deeds are for
helping / saving other being from sufferings.
3 I will focus on right understanding, don’t know mind, observing my mind and emotions in the moment to attain samadhi that are stable and calm to face life challenges. Add new rules for my own practice e.g try to sleep by 10 /11 pm cause sleeping late will impact other areas of my life and clear mind practice.
