振明《当普贤遇见佛陀11》心得报告

1        I am gratitude that can have a human body, learning the true dharmma, meeting GREAT teachers and zen masters to practice in this life.

2        100% letting go of personal gain and craving in order to attain clear mind is not an easy job. Bowing and meditation is the key to keep my don’t know mind and just do it. Still need more rigorous practice.

3        I vow to take the bodhi path to support the world to be a better place to live in peace for the rest of this life. Then to the western buddha land when this life ends for further practice before come back and continue.

Removing the delusion of “not easy”, just keep bringing focus back to daily practices and applying buddha’s teaching in daily life, you will definitely reach the ultimate goals of attaining enlightenment and helping all being.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀10》心得报告

1        I am the deluded one and enter buddhism from just following the teaching because I see the good in the dharmma.

2        My wife seems to be from the wisdom aspect of entry to buddhism. No wonder we use to have arguments because what she said I don’t get it and vice versa. It is just like we are from different channel in the radio cannot resonate. However, I see we are just from different channel of entry but the ultimate aim is the same. Just like I move from the east and she move from the west on earth. One day in the future we should meet at a point. Hence, I just need to continue repent and practice, the channel will be in tune in the future. Now sometimes will be in tune and sometimes not. Hopefully the in tune incidences will get more often and longer duration. 😊

3        My condition of entry into buddhism is seeing the benefits of the dharmma and would like to protect its sustainability as well as helping being to reduce suffering by sharing the dharmma to apply in our daily life. Seeing many change to other religions is a pity hence, it is important for me to practice well in my life as example. Otherwise they will run away faster seeing me practice is not getting a better life.

attaining enlightment and help all being is our ultimate goal, embrace the up and down during this dharmma practicing road, these up and down help to polish up the wisdom, which able to transform the inharmony to harmony, just keep trying till the ultimate goal is met.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀09》心得报告

1                It is harder to practice when staying in the home life because there are many attractions and distractions. However, zen master says bad situations is good situation to practice. For this, we must have some samadhi level to continue practice. Otherwise needs to have the precepts to guard and protects us from being derailed.

2                To me zen master has summarized the 37 method / path to practice into right understanding, keeping a clear/don’t know mind and functioning correctly. Try, try, try for 10 thousand years. This includes when to keep and open the precept as long as the words, thoughts and deeds are for helping / saving other being from sufferings.

3                I will focus on right understanding, don’t know mind, observing my mind and emotions in the moment to attain samadhi that are stable and calm to face life challenges. Add new rules for my own practice e.g try to sleep by 10 /11 pm cause sleeping late will impact other areas of my life and clear mind practice.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀08》心得报告

1                 My second son got penalize for living the school after exam. He is not allowed to leave the school because he is staying in hostel and needs to get permission. I explained to him that rules is to protect us and others. This is just like precepts.

2                I have taken refuge and precept in 1995 July 16. Joined 8 precepts session before. Whole day cannot talk. It was a tough experience.

3                 Many years ago when I started to stop taking meat for my family initially because would like to show a good example for my children, it was a difficult task when we had arguments with my mother. She has a loving heart where she thought my child will not have sufficient nutrients for not taking meat. Hence, she secretly cook meat and minced for the meals. After some arguments and friction, luckily my mother give in. And now she take vegetarian for half a day during the new moon and full moon days.

The precept upholding in daily life and the acceptance by all family members on this are maybe challenging, every happening is our good teacher, difficult situation is okay, just keep trying, until everything is complete.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀07》心得报告

1        I am grateful to Triple Jewels, Sakyamuni Buddha, all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, dharmma protectors, sanghas and all volunteers making my dharmma learnings and practice possible in the past, present and future.

2        I am grateful to my parents for giving me life, all the people and teachers who have taught me, support me and grow me to my current state in life.

3        I am grateful for that I am healthy and has the ability to live a normal life and continue my dharmma practice in the past, present an future.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀06》心得报告

1        I am do not have the memory of remarkable memory like Ananda. As we age memory deteriorates. If I have sleep deprivation, it worsen. Hence, it is necessary for me to get good quality and quantity sleep.

2        Yesterday, I was rushing to help my wife send her car to service centre and it is late and I have to conduct a training session at 9 am. As I was driving in an anxious state because I am going to be late to work, I asked myself “What am I doing NOW” then I started to let go of what happen that cause the lateness (which is past and nothing can be done) and then my anxiousness lessen even though I know I am going to be late and focus on the my driving. Eventhough there was jam I was calmer in my driving. Informing my boss a day before that I will be late does helps to reduce the anxiousness as less thing to focus in the morning rush. Daily practices is so important to function.

3        At the service centre, I was still anxious but the whole process with my wife was quite good as compared to previous experience we may have gotten into quarrel She has also improved a lot in managing her anger and emotions.

4        In the evening, the incidences was not so good and we had some argument, probably due to the rushing and the impatient in both of us after so much rushing and hard work during the day. Hence, I need more hard practice.

【 "What am I doing NOW?" is really a good sword for cutting off delusions. Every happening is not good not bad, every happening can become our opportunity to practice "listen, appreciate, accept 聆听,欣赏,接纳". Keep trying.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀05》心得报告

1        It is necessary to have don’t know mind in order to have wisdom to break the vicious cycle at the point ignorance. By applying this in my daily bowing practice with just counting each bow clearly it helps me to have stronger focus ability and sometimes calmer to face day to day issues.

2        My previous understanding to break away from the re-birth cycle can be intervened at the contact stage in the 12 dependent origination. But after this class session and 30/3/22 Wednesday zen session, there is actually a pre-requirement which is the don’t know mind at the point of contact then there is no attachment when the 6 senses contact the external and internal world then just observe the truth before function correctly. We then can break away from the rebirth cycle moment to moment in present life and not after we die. Hence, everything, relationship and incident we in contact start from a don’t know mind we will be able to function correctly and break away from rebirth or repeating our old habits or mistakes. We will be peaceful. Even suffering is just like this without emotional attachment moment to moment. It is just that simple and direct BUT not easy. I just need to continue trying the “hit” in my daily life to function correctly in order to become Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀04》心得报告

1        I have been living in the future to want early retirement and go into different venture, learnings and conflicts. This is because of the “I”. This allow me to let go and not holding to what I want and cause a deluded mind (cannot understand the current issue/truth) in tackling the current issue. This also allow me to do more of my responsibilities in the moment in my relationships.

2        Suffering is a conflict or in a softer word call misalignment of what we want/like and don’t want / dislike. Have been having issues with children and spouse and keep on venturing and learning with insufficient time for them because of the “I” want the life in future. From now on will just take it easy to leave more in the moment according to situation needs and adjust my personal timing accordingly with timely and clear communication when seeing the needs of the situation. After this class, decided to just accept whatever the result / outcome (let go) and adjust accordingly with LESS emotional want (cause of suffering). This will also reduce conflicts and stress.

3        I am disagree with previous class that if someone want a lot of money, then someone else will loss a lot of money. This is only true if the money comes from unethical / illegal activities like gambling, cheating, drug pushing, certain kind of trading etc. But if we are solving other peoples’ problems and receive the money, this is saving other peoples’ time, headache, money, stress etc which is adding value to other peoples’ lives. This is ok to me. The key here is how much money is enough to live the lifestyle we want without indulgence that will allow us to break away from the vicious cycle of suffering.

4        To break away from suffering, I will practice more awareness when there is any issues or problems or conflict arise in my life and work. Only when I can recognize the suffering I cannot observe and solve it with the noble eightfold path. Will try using the right understanding (from the world issue perspective) to understand the actual suffering/issue before applying the right thinking and right effort to solve it.

it’s good to aware about “I want”, next step will be how to transform “I want” to ‘what they need’ or “what can I help them”, moment to moment, keep trying.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀03》心得报告


1        I am a defective product like what my spouse said :). So still need a lot of hard practice in life

2        Sometime in life can perceive incidence before the things happen and prepare for it then the next moment life will be smooth. Nice to skip the argument and conflict.

3        In practice, it is not easy to maintain an unmoving / clear mind without impacted by external incidences and people. Sometimes can be done and incidences will be smoothen, cool and settle down. Sometimes can get emotional / sometimes anxious then reacting in an ineffective manner. Still need more bowing and “dan tien” breathing practice.

Kindly share the recent incidence in daily life that you had applied the buddha’s teaching with us. Just keep trying to follow buddha’s steps in dealing each matter in daily life, step by step, moment to moment, until reaching the completeness.

振明《当普贤遇上佛陀02》心得报告

1        I am a dirty glass with own thinking when communicating with my spouse. When a request which I cannot fulfil, I didn’t manage to speak out the real reason which cause conflict for long time. Need to learn to response immediately to prevent further conflict for a more happier and more peaceful marriage.

2        When listening to the dharmma, sometimes cannot focus and sometimes cannot remember the content after sometime. Next time will try to relate the dharmma to daily live / practice where it will be deeper level of learning as easier to remember.

3        For praising Sakyamuni Buddha, I will :
(a) practice more of his teaching in my daily life
(b) continue daily repentance bowing
(c) sharing his dharmma to as many people around

If Buddha is in front of me I will bow to him and THANK HIM for sharing his invaluable teachings which is borderless, limitless and timeless by appearing himself in this world to show us the ways to end suffering.

1        I am unable to give immediate praise to every being on the good deed yet especially the wrong deeds beings because cannot see all being as equal for the moment.

2        I praise Sakyamuni Buddha by :
(a) praising on all the good actions and speeches of others.
(b) my daily life practices according to Buddha’s teachings

keep trying to apply buddhas teachings in daily life, keep trying on daily practices such as chanting, 108 bows and so on, these will broaden the mind, which leads to the more acceptance for all beings and daily happenings.
